Meeting Dates 2024-2025

  • June 17th 2024 1:00pm-3:30pm Board members had a Question and Answer session with the council’s Director of Integrated Adult Social Care. There was also an update from DPT on the new mental health unit being built in Dawlish for people with learning disabilities or autism.

  • September 16th 2024 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members had a Question and Answer session with the council’s Deputy Director of Adult Social Care followed by a presentation from the DIVAS. DIVAs are women with learning disabilities and/or autism who have survived abuse.

  • November 25th 2024 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members had a Question and Answer session with the council’s Deputy Director of Integrated Adult Social Care. There was an update on The Brook unit being built in Dawlish to treat mental health conditions. This was followed by an update from NHS Devon’s GP Lead on work done to encourage more people to have annual health checks. Board members were told about the Adult Social Care survey that will be sent out in January 2025.

  • February 24th 2025 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members will be told about work done to make it easier for people to apply for concessionary bus passes and there will be a presentation by the Reaching for Independence Team .
