February 5th 2024 1:00pm-3:30pm Board members were able to ask questions to DPT nurses about national screening programmes for men and women. They were also given the chance to share their experiences of using 111 and out of hours services.

March 25th 2024 1:00pm-3:00pm Annual General Meeting (AGM) Board members were able to share and learn more about positive learning disability projects that had taken place across Devon in the last year. We had an input from the DIVAS, saw a film made by the Jargon Busters Co-production Group and heard more about Parent/Carer Employment events that took place in November and February.

June 17th 2024 1:00pm-3:30pm Board members had a Question and Answer session with the council’s Director of Integrated Adult Social Care. There was also an update from DPT on the new mental health unit being built in Dawlish for people with learning disabilities or autism.

September 16th 2024 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members will have an update from the DIVAS. Followed by a Question and Answer session with the council’s Deputy Director of Adult Social Care.

November 25th 2024 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members will have an update from NHS Devon’s GP Lead on work done to encourage more people to have annual health checks and flu jabs. Followed by a Question and Answer session with the council’s Deputy Director of Adult Commissioning and Health.

February 24th 2025 11:30am-12:30pm and 1:00pm-2:00pm Board members will have an update on TECS (Technology Enabled Care services) from a Disability Lead. Followed by a Question and Answer session with the council’s Principal Adult Social Worker and Principal Adult Occupational Therapist.
